Compressor
Inverter or fixed speed?
An inverter AC slows its compressor once the room is cool instead of switching on and off. It holds a steadier temperature, runs quieter and usually uses less power over long daily use.
Efficiency
What the star rating means
The BEE star label compares efficiency against models of the same type. More stars cost more upfront but less to run; if the AC runs many hours a day, a higher rating usually pays back.
Coils
Copper or aluminium coils
Copper transfers heat well, resists corrosion and is easier to repair. Aluminium keeps the price down. We'll tell you what each model uses so you can compare properly.
Refrigerant
Why R32 gas
Most new split ACs use R32. It cools efficiently and has a much lower global-warming impact than R410A and R22. It needs trained handling, which our technicians are equipped for.

How often should I service my AC?
For homes in Coimbatore we recommend a full wet service at least twice a year, ideally before summer and after the monsoon. Clean or rinse the filters every two to four weeks when the AC runs daily.
What size AC do I need for my room?
As a rough guide, about 1 ton suits a room up to around 120 sq ft, 1.5 ton suits around 120 to 180 sq ft, and 2 ton suits around 180 to 250 sq ft. Sun exposure, ceiling height, people and appliances all change this, which is why we measure the heat load before we quote.
How long does a split AC installation take?
A standard split AC installation usually takes two to four hours, including mounting, copper piping, vacuuming, drain routing and testing. Longer pipe runs or core-cutting through thick walls can take longer.
Why is my AC not cooling properly?
The common causes are a clogged filter, a dirty indoor or outdoor coil, low refrigerant because of a leak, or an AC that is too small for the room. A service visit finds the cause before anything is replaced.
Does an AC need regular gas filling?
No. Refrigerant runs in a sealed loop and is not used up. If the gas is low there is a leak, so we find and fix the leak first and then recharge the system to the correct pressure.
Do you service all AC brands?
We service split, window, cassette and ductable air conditioners from the major brands sold in India. Tell us the brand and model when you book so the technician brings the right parts.
